You really need to be speaking with someone at the job centre, but you could still be eligible for housing benefit

HtELLO, IHAVE epilepsy and have found it impossible to find employment. As I have helped in kitchens and serving custiomers 4 various charities and fundraising groups I would like to start a catering busines which would be primarily 4 parties and oudoor events in the summer. how would this effect my housing benefit? there is no longer a disability advice worker at the jobcentre. It is likely that I would working full time for a week then no work 4 week etc and you cant keep stopping and starting HB,

i was diagnosed with mantle cell lymphoma dec 2007, i battled cancer for 9 months with chemotherapy treatments leading up to a stem cell transplant in august 2008. The proceedure worked so far and I am now cancer free to date. My immune system was weaked by the treatments and I now have a rare eye infection in my cornea. My company told me I no longer have a position and at 51 years old seeking employment is a very hard task. I have been working on an idea I had while in the hospital to help cancer patients be more comfortable in daily life and the idea for these products has caught intrest enough for me to persue this idea. who do i explain my idea to and whatare the next steps. My funds are depleted and i am seeking financial help to move my life forward and help others, i have a full business plan

Starting up in business will not effect your DLA.

You my be eligible for test trading

hi I really want to try this but i am very scared it is a big step as I suffer from Lupus SLE, I Have good days and bad days what happens if i cant cope with the work and decide not to catty on will this effect my benifits and while I am earing will it effect my disability living allowance?

hi my name is stephen james france i have just recently finished a painting and decorating course and would now like to start my own business i have tried too get loans from banks too start up but have not had any succses because i am on benifits as i suffer from pyscosis which is a mental illness but have been well for about 2 years so would really like to work and own my own business and i am really determind too make a better life for me and my family i have decorated my own house.

I have been determined for a very long time but my illness has helf me back in the past, all my CPN and people around me feel this is a good thing to head towards and are very confident in my abilities to have my own painting and decorating business.

I am just needing the opportunity to come along so i can kick start my business into up and running mode and have a successful business of my own.
