As I have helped in kitchens and serving custiomers 4 various charities and fundraising groups I would like to start a catering busines which would be primarily 4 parties and oudoor events in the summer. how would this effect my housing benefit? there is no longer a disability advice worker at the jobcentre. As this is seasonal and contractual my main worry is the payment of rent/council tax. how does housing benifit work if you have work for 2 weeks then none for 3 wks. Bearing in mind how slow applications can be. would my income support and DLA be affected? i have been trying to find someone to talk to and advise me that has specialist knowledge of disabled persons to no avail, thanks I wish 2 start up small event cafe at outdoor events.
